Privacy Policy – “Promotiontailor”  Terms of Use

This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy“) is an integral part of the terms of use and both documents should be read together.

The Operator respects the privacy of its users. In order to improve the protection of the Users, the Operator publishes this Privacy Policy regarding how the Operator collects Your information from Your use of the Website and the mobile App.

The processing and collection of personal data is governed by the Israeli law and by the General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”), and whenever you’ll provide the Operator such information, the Operator will only use your information in line with all applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR. At all times You are in control of Your information, and You can withdraw Your consent to provide Your information to the Operator.

The data controller of the Website and mobile App is N.F.O software development and real estate Ltd, Israeli Company No. 515017382 (the “Operator“) which is the entity which decides how Your personal information is processed and for what purposes as detailed in the Privacy Policy.

  1. General
    1. During Your use of the Website and mobile App, the following information about You will be collected:

Information delivered directly by You – your name, email details, telephone number, type of mobile phone, phone book and contacts. When did You join the service, when was the last time you’ve connected to ME, your activation code, authentication details, your contact list, your call log, your location, advertiser id and your favorite contacts. 

Me allows you to report on spam numbers, that is why Me keeps the phone numbers you’ve reported. We also keep the information which of the users reported on spam, and who voted up a spam number. 

Me also keeps the information of who of the other users profiles you have been watching, and who watches your profile, you can see who watches and when only in our premium services.
You can disable this in the app settings, for you information if you will change that others can view when you watch their profile, we still log and keep when you watch others but we don’t show it to them, if you will re enable this option in the settings they will be able to see it. 
If you allow Me to use and access location services, we will update your location from time to time on background, this is not a must and you can disable this permission, inside the app and from your phone settings.
We use location in order to enable close friends to share the distance between them,
You can send “Share Location Request” to a contact, and ONLY if he/she will approve you will be able to view the distance between both of you.
In order for this feature to function we must update your location in the background from time to time.

 

We allow users to write comments on other users’ profiles, the comments will be shown to the public only if the user will approve the comment.
A User can decide whether to delete, approve or block the comment.
Users can disable comments writing on their profile from the app privacy settings.

You can change your status in your profile from time to time, this will be public in your profile and in our caller id.

 

Your name, you can choose your name when you register the app, you can send us a request to change it, we will consider name changes and not all will be approved. We also have the right to change names as we see fit without your consent. the name will be publicly visible in our caller id and in your ME profile.
You can choose to be on the blacklist and your name will not show, if you choose to do that you will not be able to use the app, if you reactivate the app your name will automatically be available and visible.

 

Once you register to ME, you give us access to your phone contacts for:

  • Enriching the database of the mobile App, so we can improve our caller id algorithm and better recognize calls.
  • To enable us to recognize how your contacts who use ME name you.
  • To enable us to tell your contacts who have ME App, how you name them.. 
  • your contacts will be automatically synced, and every contact change update/insert/delete we might notify to users who you have as contact on that change.
  • To enable us to automatic backup your contacts, you will be able to restore them only if you purchase the PRO package.
  • To show mutual contacts between you and other Me profiles, that can be disabled in the app settings.

You also give us access to your call log for:

  • Enable Caller ID, without this it will not function on Android devices
  • To enable us gather data for the friendship screen, to see who calls who more
  • In order us to auto backup your call log, you will be able to restore them only if you purchase the PRO package.

 

Please note that you can register to ME via Facebook or any other social media Website and mobile App. In such case, we save your profile picture, your age, gender in order to able the exposure to the other users of ME. In addition, other Me users can see your mutual contacts, your name, pictures (if there are any). Other user will be able to see how he is written in your contact info. You can block this option and the option to recognized by others by contact us here:

If you do choose to block your number from our identifying services you will not be able to use our services, if you do choose to register again to the service the block will automatically be removed.

 You are not obligated to deliver these details above; however, without delivering the details required for registration at the Website and mobile App, the activity of the user will be limited. 

Here is the information you and other users of ME can see about each other:

Your name, your phone number, once you logged in with Facebook or any other social media, or you filled in profile edit details, other users can also view your: age, gender, profiles pictures, profiles in social media, email, mutual contacts, who viewed your profile, who from your contacts have installed the app. 

You can cancel the option to view mutual contacts, and the option who viewed your profile (and via versa) by clicking the setting button. 

You can cancel the shared distance from the settings. 

You can cancel Who viewed your profile, but we will keep logs of who you visited and who visited you, if you re-enable it will be shown.

 

ANY DETAIL THAT YOU WILL PUT ON YOUR PROFILE WILL BE VISIBLE TO OTHER ME USERS, YOU CAN EDIT/CHANGE/REMOVE ALL THE DETAILS FROM EDIT PROFILE, OR SETTINGS
EXCEPT: YOUR PHONE NUMBER AND YOUR NAME.

 

    1. The collection of information on the basis of the use of the made by You– surfing preferences of You, information on subjects which interest You, analysis, web pages You have visited, internet address data, type of operating system. 

 

  1. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Information
    1. Under the GDPR and subject to different exemptions, you have the following rights:
  • To access Your personal data and receive a copy of Your personal data upon Your request;
  • To rectify, erase or restrict Your information upon Your request (right to be forgotten); Please note that once you ask to delete your profile and info, other ME users still can recognize your phone number. You can cancel this option by listing your profile in the black list here:

  • To object to the processing of Your information;
  • To request that the Operator will provide the You with Your personal information and, if possible, to transmit Your data directly to another data controller (right to data portability).
  • To withdraw Your consent to processing and the processing at any time;
    1. No fees are required for exercising any of the above rights. However, and subject to the GDPR, the Operator may charge You a reasonable fee including administration fees if Your request is repetitive or excessive or demands the Operator to bear excessive and/or expensive efforts.

  1. Database and Use of Information
    1. All collected information as stated above is stored in the Operator’s database. With accordance to Your consent, the Operator warrants to use such information for the following purposes:

We use the information delivered directly by you in order to: 

  • Enabling convenient and efficient use and providing you the Operator’s Services;
  • notifying you of important changes to the ME Site or ME Services or for customer service purposes
  • Enforce the Operator’s Terms and for legal issues;
  • Providing You unique services including sending you newsletters upon providing Your email address;
  • Sending you notifications regarding our services and informing you with updates and new elements of Me. 
  • For marketing communications.
  • We are using your contacts list in order to : give you the ability to restore your contact list in a case of lose, to give you the option to whom of your contacts (who has the App) has saved your contact details and how they saved your details, to find mutual contacts with other users of ME, to know who of your contacts uses ME and to improve and train our algorithm and make it more accurate. 
  • Every user can report to us about any suspicious and spam number. In such a case we save the report details and the user details who opened the case. Other users can’t see who reported this number as spam.
  • You will be able to suggest a different name for a number. In such a case, we save the user details, the phone number and the new name suggested. In a case we approve the suggestion – we will delete the data that has been saved during this process. 
  • We use your name, your phone number, your email address, profile picture, social media accounts, age, gender etc, to activate your user profile. Some of the details are necessary to activate your profile. You can always update and change your profile (except for your phone number). Every detail that you share on your profile – will be exposed to the other users. However, you can manage which of the information – you wish to share with them. 
  • Analysis of data – on the users (for example – clicks, time on site, views) for tracking user browsing preferences, tracking users’ actions to learn how users use our services and interact with our services, statistical analyses (which do not identify the users personally) and measurement to understand better the user’s activities, to improve and enrich our services and for testing and researches. 
  • We save your calls so we can recognize the caller identity.
  • In any case you purchase a subscription – we keep your digital signature to verify the purchase and the details of your purchase.  
  • We collect the information on the basis of the use of the made by You in order to:

Improve and enrich existing services and content;

Modify and/or remove existing services and content;

Create statistical data.

Other purposes as described in section 7 below.  

  • Any other purpose detailed in the Terms and this Privacy Policy.
    1. Your information is collected and used because the Operator has a legitimate business interest for Your personal data to be used for the above purposes. This enables the Operator to send You relevant and personalized content designed to improve Your use of the Website and mobile App. You have the right to object to this by contacting the Operator via email: me@meapp.info. Please note that if you object, this may affect the Operator’s ability to send personalized content to You.
    2. Please note that some of the information You will be requested to provide is necessary for providing You the Services. Therefore, your refusal to provide some information may result in You not receiving the Services since the Operator will not be practically able to provide you the Services.
    3. The Operator may receive Your information from third parties which the Operator cooperates with (e.g. business partners, professional advisors, service providers, etc.) and the Operator may receive Your information from them.
  1. Transferring Information to Third Parties

Subject to Your consent, the Operator may transfer and/or share Your information in the following events and circumstances and, when applicable, will give you reasonable notice upon doing so:

  • When You have permitted the Operator to transfer and/or share Your information, and in such case the Operator will always ensure that Your information will remain protected and secure when being transferred;
  • When You violate the Terms of the Website and mobile App or act illegally;
  • To enforce the Terms or the Privacy Policy;
  • In response to a subpoena or similar investigative demand, a court order, or a request for cooperation from law enforcement or other government agency;
  • To establish or exercise the Operator’s legal rights;
  • To defend against legal claims; or as otherwise required by law. In such cases, the Operator may raise or waive any legal objection or right available to the Operator, in the Operator’s sole discretion;
  • To protect and defend the rights, property or safety of the Operator, its Users, employees or others;
  • to certain service providers that help us provide you with ME Services (including, without limitation, cloud storage services). Such service providers are committed to maintain the privacy of the information provided to them under no less stringent conditions of this privacy policy. Here are the third parties that Me works with: google analytics, google firebase, google admob, Facebook Analytics, Facebook Audience Network, Facebook Account Kit , InforU, Twillio, Mopub (Twitter), 019  (sms provider).
  • In connection with a substantial corporate transaction, such as the sale of the Operator’s business, a divestiture, merger, consolidation, or asset sale, or in the event of liquidation.
  • In case we decide to cooperate with a third-party company to use ME call recognition calls, or for a service for validating the person behind a phone number. 
  1. Third-Parties

 

    1. There are a number of places on the Website and mobile App where You may click on a link to access other Website and mobile Apps that do not operate under this Privacy Policy and are not related to the Operator including, but not only, links leading to Third Party Website and mobile Apps. These links may independently solicit and collect information, including personal information, from You and, in some instances, provide the Operator with information about Your activities on those links.
    2. Every third party such as detailed above may have its own privacy policy describing its use of personal information, and such policy will regulate the use, handling and disclosure of such personal information of the User. Should You require additional information regarding any privacy policy of third parties, The Operator recommends that You visit these third-party Website and mobile Apps and read their privacy policies. It is clarified that such third parties, unless explicitly mentioned otherwise, are neither controlled nor owned by the Operator
    3. Your information will be handled and used by the Operator’s trusted third parties including the following recipients in order to deliver services provided by the Operator:
  • Providers, partners and subcontractors on behalf of the Operator;
  • Analytics and search engine providers that may assist the Operator in improving the optimization and performance of the Website and mobile App.
  1. Retaining Your Information
    1. The Operator will only retain Your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes it was collected for including, but not only, for the purposes of complying with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. The retention period is determined based on the amount, nature, and sensitivity of Your personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of Your information, the purposes for which the Operator processes Your information and whether such purposes can be achieved through other means with accordance to any applicable law.
    2. Your details for marketing communications will be retained for a period of 5 years from the date of your last interaction with the marketing communication (i.e. opening an email or clicking on a link within the email) at which point all of your personal details will be removed from the Operator’s systems unless You will address the Operator and request that You no longer wish to receive marketing messages from the Operator.
  2. Use of Cookies
    1. Upon Your consent, the Operator uses various technologies to collect information from Your device and about Your activities while using the Website and mobile App in order to improve and personalize Your online experience of the Website and mobile App including by means of storing cookies to Your device. Please note that some of the cookies the Operator uses are necessary for using the Website and mobile App and some cookies are used to provide features of third parties.
    2. The Operator uses the following cookies:
  • Necessary Cookies which are essential for providing services of the Website and mobile App. These cookies do not record any of Your identifiable personal information and the Operator does not need Your consent to place these cookies on Your device. Please note that without these cookies, The Operator will not be able to provide You some of the services offered by the Operator.
  • Performance cookies which are used to collect anonymous information about Your use of the Website and mobile Apps in order to help the Operator to improve the Website and mobile Apps and, for example, the effectiveness of the advertisements available on the Website and mobile App, including by means of recording and tracking webpages You’ve accessed, length of Your visit, Your interaction with a webpage (e.g. mouse clicks, scrolling). In some cases, the Operator uses trusted third parties to collect such information which may include recording Your use of the Website and mobile Apps, although it is clarified that such third parties use any of Your information solely for the above purpose. By using the Website and mobile App You agree that the Operator can place such cookies on Your device. Please note that at any time You have the right to withdraw Your consent and object from being recorded on the Website and mobile App.
  • Functionality cookies which are used to remember Your settings to enhance Your visit of the Website and mobile App (e.g. text size, language, time zone or other preferences). The information these cookies collect is anonymous and does not enable the Operator to track Your browsing activity on the Website and mobile App By using the Website and mobile App You agree that the Operator can place such cookies on Your device. Please note that at any time You have the right to withdraw Your consent and object from being remembered by the Website and mobile App.
  • Targeting and advertising cookies which are used by the Operator’s trusted third parties to display advertisements which are relevant to You and measure the effectiveness of such advertisements. Information contained in these cookies is anonymous and doesn’t contain Your personal information. Please note that at any time You have the right to withdraw Your consent and object from being profiled by the Website and mobile App.
  • Web analytics cookies which are used to collect information about how You use and navigate the Website and mobile App so that the Operator will be able to add new features and improve You of the Website and mobile App. This information is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally. Please note that at any time You have the right to withdraw Your consent and object from this.
    1. Please note that if You choose to disable some or all of the above cookies, the Operator cannot guarantee the proper performance and use of the Website and mobile App and some features may not function properly.
    2. During your use of the Website and mobile App, third-party Website and mobile Apps may store cookies to Your device, e.g. when some content of the Website and mobile App is embedded from the Third-Party Website and mobile Apps. Please note that the Operator has no control over these cookies and You should check such third party’s cookie policy.
  1. Data Security
    1. The Operator takes appropriate security measures for data security purposes to help prevent unauthorized persons from gaining access to Your personal information. However, no system can be completely secure. Therefore, the Operator does not warrant that its services will be totally immune to any breaches of security and/or unauthorized access, including access to the data stored in the Website and mobile App, although the Operator will contact You upon a breach of Your data security with accordance to any applicable law.
    2. The Operator inspects, from time to time, the data security of the Website and mobile App and performs modifications and upgrades accordingly in order to keep the Website and mobile App’s security. Nonetheless, the Operator will not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused to You due to exposure of Your information by an unauthorized access to the Operator’s database and/or due to any negligence or act not controlled by the Operator.

 

  1. Email Updates
    1. The Operator may offer to all its users to receive email messages and/or newsletters about updates, improvements and other user notifications regarding the Operator’s activity, including via emails and SMS (the “Mailings”).
    2. It is clarified that at any stage You will have the ability to opt out of receiving the Mailings by contacting the Operator and/or by clicking on a link available on the Mailings sent to You by the Operator.

 

  1. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Operator may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. The Operator will notify You by sending an email to the email address You most recently provided the Operator and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes and will state at the heading of the Privacy Policy the date of change.

 

Terms of Use and Confidentiality Policy (jointly hereinafter: “Terms of Use”)

General:

  1. The ME App (hereinafter: “ME” or “App”) is owned by N.F.O SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND REAL ESTATE LTD Ltd. (hereinafter: “Company”).
  2. These terms of use together with the Privacy Policy govern the rules of the use of ME.  
  3. ME is an App for displaying caller identification, allowing the user to know exactly how his contacts saved his contact information, filtering and blocking voice calls and electronic messages, identifying and providing information of senders of electronic messages,

    Search a phone number and get the name of the owner, watch mutual contacts, update profile status, share location with friends, and leave comments on other me profiles,  connect social networks.

  4. From time to time, the Company may change the App and its software, including, but not limited to, its design and the services given therein and may rewrite these Terms of Service, at its sole discretion.
  5. The user declares that he has read and understood the terms of service and agrees to everything written herein, that he is aware that his use of the App is subject to his agreeing to all the Terms of Use in accordance with the provisions detailed above and below, and he will have no contention and/or claim and/or demand against the Company and/or anyone acting on its behalf in connection with the Terms of Service. If the user does not agree to the Terms of Service, he must refrain from any access and/or use of the App.
  6. For the sake of convenience, the provisions of the Terms of Service have been written in the masculine but are intended for both genders.
  7. The Company acts respectfully towards the users and respects their privacy. The terms in the Privacy Policy chapter detail the confidentiality policy of the Company and the manner in which the Company makes use of the information delivered to it by the user or the information it collects.

It should be clarified for the avoidance of doubt that each use made of the details of the user in links found in the App (if any) and operated by third parties, as well as the information protection systems in these links, are not the responsibility of the Company. The Company recommends that the user examine the confidentiality policy in these links before carrying out any activity therein.

How to Use the ME App:

  1. The user of the App declares that he is above the age of 13; that he is permitted by law to make use of this App and its software; that he is a legal entity who is eligible to form a contractual connection under these Terms of Use; that his use of the App has never been suspended by the Company. 

Please note that if you are under the age of 13, you must avoid using ME and you are required to stop any activity. 

Before making use of the App, the user will be required to fill out necessary details with regard to himself. The user declares that all the information he is providing is full, correct, precise and reliable. The user undertakes to update these details if any changes take place in them. The user is aware that the use of the identity of another person or the transmission of false details constitutes a criminal offense. Legal criminal and/or civil measures may be taken against a user who has transmitted false details, and he alone will be responsible for any damage caused to the Company and/or any third party whatsoever in connection with this.

  1. By downloading ME, you agree and understand that:

    a. It allows you to recognize how each person that saved your number in his contacts saved your information, if he is a ME user, how he named you, and his profile details. This list is private for your eyes only after installing and activating the app via phone verification.

    If a name on the list is not for your liking you can always delete that name from your list of names.

    b. Furthermore, we use your contacts to reveal how you name them. 

If one or more of your contacts downloads and activates the app we will show him/her that you named him/her in your contacts and how exactly. Each name will be private to the specific contact only.

  1. Please also note that by using ME, your phone book will help us improve our caller ID, for callers within your contacts that might call other ME users. Your phone book is not searchable nor public for other users and will never be! We use it to determine the possible correct caller name. Also we use your contacts to show you who use the app.
  2. Users will be able to leave comments in your profile, they will be public only if you approve
  3. You will be able to share your distance with close friends, and send them a “share distance request”, only after they approve it will be accessible.

    For that we will need to access your location in the background.

  4. We will use your call log in order to identify calls, to auto backup it, and for the friendship screen in order to enable to contacts to see who called who more
  5. We will log each view into every profile, others can see when you watch their profile and you will also, only if you will buy a PRO package. 
  1. The user undertakes not to upload any software and/or computer code and/or applications and/or viruses, etc. on the website.
  2. The user is allowed to use ME only for his sole and personal uses. The user is not permitted to use ME for commercial use of the services or any content and the user agrees to use ME services only as described in these terms of use. 

    Companies or individuals who are using ME without our direct consent for commercial use can and will be prosecuted.

  3. The user undertakes that he will upload only legal content and that he will avoid posting content containing, among other things, insults, offensive, harmful, abuse, slander against a person or content which harms his privacy or reputation, threats, libel, defamation, content which encourages a criminal act and/or act of terror, pornographic or sexual content, content which harms copyrights and/or proprietary rights of others, content with a promotional character, content which could mislead the public, content which identifies other persons without them having given their consent to this.
  4. The Company does not examine or verify the correctness and reliability of the content posted by the users of the App and does not censor or supervise it in any manner whatsoever, and the reliance of a user upon content posted by other users is at his sole discretion and responsibility.
  5. The Company may delete any content from the App at its sole discretion.

     

  6. The Company brings to the attention of the user that he alone will be responsible for any legal liability for any claims and/or damages caused to another user and/or to the Company and/or to any third party whatsoever as a result of content which he has posted or the way he chose to name his contacts.
  7. You can always decide to block your number from our identifying services and join the “black list” by contacting us directly. In such a case, you will not be able to use our services. If you choose to re register (after blocking) to the service, the block will automatically be removed. 
  8. You will always be able to delete your account in ME by visiting “setting” section in the App and then “delete account”.  Please note that erasing the App from your mobile device won’t delete your account. Instead, if you don’t wish to erase your account and prefer to postpone your activity temporarily – you can easily deactivate your account by – suspend. 

Please note that if you delete your account does not mean that other users of ME won’t be able to recognize your caller ID. If you wish to block your identification, you can join the black list by contacting us directly.   

  1. The user undertakes not to make any use of the App in a manner which is contrary to the Terms of Use. The user declares that the company reserves the right to block any user from using the app without a notice if he looks suspicious or any user who makes use of the App which is not in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use and the law, the Company may remove the profile of the user from the App without derogating from any other remedy available to it under the provisions of law and without the user raising any contention and/or claim against the Company for this. It should be clarified that the cancellation of the user’s access to the App will not annul any liability toward the Company or toward any third party whatsoever created by the user’s employment of the App.

Liability:

  1. Neither the Company nor anyone acting on its behalf will bear any responsibility in connection with any inaccuracy, incorrectness, imprecision, etc. of the content and the information presented by the users in the App, nor will they bear any responsibility for a breach of a representation and/or undertaking and/or declaration, etc. of any of the users.
  2. The Company will not bear responsibility for damage and/or loss and/or deprivation caused to a user or his property or any other damage caused to a user in the App as a result of or in connection with content presented by other users in the App.
  3. The Company does not control, examine or verify the correctness and reliability of the content posted by the users, as well as the way they choose to save their contacts and the names they give to their contacts. The Company cannot obligate to censor or supervise it in any manner whatsoever. 
  4. The Company brings to the attention of the user that he alone will be responsible for any claim of other users or third party and will be responsible for any legal liability for damage caused to another user and/or to the Company and/or to any third party whatsoever as a result of content which he has posted or the way he named his contacts. 

Therefore, the reliance of you upon content appears in the App, as well as the contacts names, is at under your sole discretion and responsibility.

  1. The Company does not undertake to the user that the App and the content found therein will be available and accessible at all times, and the user is aware that if there is a malfunction or disruption in the App or a disturbance in the connection to it, this will not obligate the Company. Moreover, the Company does not undertake that the App will be protected from hacking, illegal intrusion, damage, malfunction or failure, and the Company will not bear any responsibility in connection with this.
  2. The Company makes use of external software of third parties. These third parties are exposed to content posted by the user, and therefore it is to be clarified that the Company does not bear responsibility for use which a third party may make of this content.
  3. By using ME, you might also use independent third-party services such as: google analytics, google firebase, google admob, Facebook Analytics, Facebook Audience Network, Facebook Account Kit, InforU, Twilio, Taboola, MoPub, 019 SMS. The third-party terms of use and privacy policy apply to you, and the company will bear no responsibility related to third-party services.

Support

  1. The company is willing to give its users technical support but won’t be under obligation to provide full support or maintenance at all times and the company, under its sole discretion might limit or cancel the support.

Fees and Cancellation 

  1. Some of the services offered in the App entail monthly subscription fees at different rates, according to the subscription the user decides to purchase. Subscription fees will be charged via your iTunes or Google Play account. 
  2. The App subscription is a continuous subscription and will be renewed automatically at the end of each subscription period unless you will cancel it. The user can turn off the automatic renewal via the Appstore setting accounts at list 24 hours before the current subscription comes to an end. Cancellation will come into force at the end of current subscription. Please note that deleting the App from your device does not result in cancelling your subscription. For more information how to manage your subscription, you can visit Apple support at: app store support or Google support at: google play support.     The company reserves the right to update App rates and the components of offered subscription plans periodically, at its exclusive discretion. The company will inform users of its intention to change subscription rates via a notification in the app. In case you use Apple, we will ask your consent to the new rate, without having your consent, the subscription will be disabled. 

Advertising in the App:

  1. If there are advertisements on the App, the Company will bear no responsibility for its content or actions taken in their framework.   2. For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby clarified that the permitted use of the App by the user does not grant him any rights whatsoever in the App or in the material found therein and/or harm the intellectual property rights granted to the Company or to third parties.
  3. It is prohibited to copy, reproduce, distribute, broadcast, publish, show in public, change, deliver to a third party or make any other use, commercial or noncommercial, of any part of the App, or to take any action which could harm the intellectual property of the Company or of third parties, except with the advance, written, explicit consent of the Company and/or the owner, as the case may be.
  4. The user will be responsible and will indemnify the Company immediately upon the first demand for any damage caused to it due to a breach of the provisions of this section.

Confidentiality Policy:

  1. The Company acts respectfully towards the users and respects their privacy. Here you can find privacy policy and the manner in which the Company makes use of the information delivered to it by the user or the information it collects and processes. 

Indemnification:

  1. The user undertakes to indemnify the Company and/or anyone acting on its behalf for any damage and/or loss and/or deprivation caused to the Company for use which is contrary to the provisions of the Terms of Service and/or in a manner which is contrary to the purpose of the App and/or if improper/dishonest use is made of the App and/or use which is contrary to the provisions of law.

Law and Jurisdiction:

  1. Only the laws of the State of Israel will apply to the Terms of Service.
  2. The sole jurisdiction in any matter and/or issue in connection with the Terms of Use will rest with the Tel Aviv-Jaffa District Court.

  1. The ME App (hereinafter: “ME” or “App”) is owned by N.F.O SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT AND REAL ESTATE LTD Ltd. (hereinafter: “Company”).
  2. These terms of use together with the Privacy Policy govern the rules of the use of ME.  
  3. ME is an App for displaying caller identification, allowing the user to know exactly how his contacts saved his contact information, filtering and blocking voice calls and electronic messages, identifying and providing information of senders of electronic messages,

    Search a phone number and get the name of the owner, watch mutual contacts, update profile status, share location with friends, and leave comments on other me profiles,  connect social networks.

  4. From time to time, the Company may change the App and its software, including, but not limited to, its design and the services given therein and may rewrite these Terms of Service, at its sole discretion.
  5. The user declares that he has read and understood the terms of service and agrees to everything written herein, that he is aware that his use of the App is subject to his agreeing to all the Terms of Use in accordance with the provisions detailed above and below, and he will have no contention and/or claim and/or demand against the Company and/or anyone acting on its behalf in connection with the Terms of Service. If the user does not agree to the Terms of Service, he must refrain from any access and/or use of the App.
  6. For the sake of convenience, the provisions of the Terms of Service have been written in the masculine but are intended for both genders.
  7. The Company acts respectfully towards the users and respects their privacy. The terms in the Privacy Policy chapter detail the confidentiality policy of the Company and the manner in which the Company makes use of the information delivered to it by the user or the information it collects.

It should be clarified for the avoidance of doubt that each use made of the details of the user in links found in the App (if any) and operated by third parties, as well as the information protection systems in these links, are not the responsibility of the Company. The Company recommends that the user examine the confidentiality policy in these links before carrying out any activity therein.

How to Use the ME App:

  1. The user of the App declares that he is above the age of 13; that he is permitted by law to make use of this App and its software; that he is a legal entity who is eligible to form a contractual connection under these Terms of Use; that his use of the App has never been suspended by the Company. 

Please note that if you are under the age of 13, you must avoid using ME and you are required to stop any activity. 

Before making use of the App, the user will be required to fill out necessary details with regard to himself. The user declares that all the information he is providing is full, correct, precise and reliable. The user undertakes to update these details if any changes take place in them. The user is aware that the use of the identity of another person or the transmission of false details constitutes a criminal offense. Legal criminal and/or civil measures may be taken against a user who has transmitted false details, and he alone will be responsible for any damage caused to the Company and/or any third party whatsoever in connection with this.

  1. By downloading ME, you agree and understand that:

    a. It allows you to recognize how each person that saved your number in his contacts saved your information, if he is a ME user, how he named you, and his profile details. This list is private for your eyes only after installing and activating the app via phone verification.

    If a name on the list is not for your liking you can always delete that name from your list of names.

    b. Furthermore, we use your contacts to reveal how you name them. 

If one or more of your contacts downloads and activates the app we will show him/her that you named him/her in your contacts and how exactly. Each name will be private to the specific contact only.

  1. Please also note that by using ME, your phone book will help us improve our caller ID, for callers within your contacts that might call other ME users. Your phone book is not searchable nor public for other users and will never be! We use it to determine the possible correct caller name. Also we use your contacts to show you who use the app.
  2. Users will be able to leave comments in your profile, they will be public only if you approve
  3. You will be able to share your distance with close friends, and send them a “share distance request”, only after they approve it will be accessible.

    For that we will need to access your location in the background.

  4. We will use your call log in order to identify calls, to auto backup it, and for the friendship screen in order to enable to contacts to see who called who more
  5. We will log each view into every profile, others can see when you watch their profile and you will also, only if you will buy a PRO package. 
  1. The user undertakes not to upload any software and/or computer code and/or applications and/or viruses, etc. on the website.
  2. The user is allowed to use ME only for his sole and personal uses. The user is not permitted to use ME for commercial use of the services or any content and the user agrees to use ME services only as described in these terms of use. 

    Companies or individuals who are using ME without our direct consent for commercial use can and will be prosecuted.

  3. The user undertakes that he will upload only legal content and that he will avoid posting content containing, among other things, insults, offensive, harmful, abuse, slander against a person or content which harms his privacy or reputation, threats, libel, defamation, content which encourages a criminal act and/or act of terror, pornographic or sexual content, content which harms copyrights and/or proprietary rights of others, content with a promotional character, content which could mislead the public, content which identifies other persons without them having given their consent to this.
  4. The Company does not examine or verify the correctness and reliability of the content posted by the users of the App and does not censor or supervise it in any manner whatsoever, and the reliance of a user upon content posted by other users is at his sole discretion and responsibility.
  5. The Company may delete any content from the App at its sole discretion.

     

  6. The Company brings to the attention of the user that he alone will be responsible for any legal liability for any claims and/or damages caused to another user and/or to the Company and/or to any third party whatsoever as a result of content which he has posted or the way he chose to name his contacts.
  7. You can always decide to block your number from our identifying services and join the “black list” by contacting us directly. In such a case, you will not be able to use our services. If you choose to re register (after blocking) to the service, the block will automatically be removed. 
  8. You will always be able to delete your account in ME by visiting “setting” section in the App and then “delete account”.  Please note that erasing the App from your mobile device won’t delete your account. Instead, if you don’t wish to erase your account and prefer to postpone your activity temporarily – you can easily deactivate your account by – suspend. 

Please note that if you delete your account does not mean that other users of ME won’t be able to recognize your caller ID. If you wish to block your identification, you can join the black list by contacting us directly.   

  1. The user undertakes not to make any use of the App in a manner which is contrary to the Terms of Use. The user declares that the company reserves the right to block any user from using the app without a notice if he looks suspicious or any user who makes use of the App which is not in accordance with the provisions of the Terms of Use and the law, the Company may remove the profile of the user from the App without derogating from any other remedy available to it under the provisions of law and without the user raising any contention and/or claim against the Company for this. It should be clarified that the cancellation of the user’s access to the App will not annul any liability toward the Company or toward any third party whatsoever created by the user’s employment of the App.

Liability:

  1. Neither the Company nor anyone acting on its behalf will bear any responsibility in connection with any inaccuracy, incorrectness, imprecision, etc. of the content and the information presented by the users in the App, nor will they bear any responsibility for a breach of a representation and/or undertaking and/or declaration, etc. of any of the users.
  2. The Company will not bear responsibility for damage and/or loss and/or deprivation caused to a user or his property or any other damage caused to a user in the App as a result of or in connection with content presented by other users in the App.
  3. The Company does not control, examine or verify the correctness and reliability of the content posted by the users, as well as the way they choose to save their contacts and the names they give to their contacts. The Company cannot obligate to censor or supervise it in any manner whatsoever. 
  4. The Company brings to the attention of the user that he alone will be responsible for any claim of other users or third party and will be responsible for any legal liability for damage caused to another user and/or to the Company and/or to any third party whatsoever as a result of content which he has posted or the way he named his contacts. 

Therefore, the reliance of you upon content appears in the App, as well as the contacts names, is at under your sole discretion and responsibility.

  1. The Company does not undertake to the user that the App and the content found therein will be available and accessible at all times, and the user is aware that if there is a malfunction or disruption in the App or a disturbance in the connection to it, this will not obligate the Company. Moreover, the Company does not undertake that the App will be protected from hacking, illegal intrusion, damage, malfunction or failure, and the Company will not bear any responsibility in connection with this.
  2. The Company makes use of external software of third parties. These third parties are exposed to content posted by the user, and therefore it is to be clarified that the Company does not bear responsibility for use which a third party may make of this content.
  3. By using ME, you might also use independent third-party services such as: google analytics, google firebase, google admob, Facebook Analytics, Facebook Audience Network, Facebook Account Kit, InforU, Twilio, Taboola, MoPub, 019 SMS. The third-party terms of use and privacy policy apply to you, and the company will bear no responsibility related to third-party services.

Support

  1. The company is willing to give its users technical support but won’t be under obligation to provide full support or maintenance at all times and the company, under its sole discretion might limit or cancel the support.

Fees and Cancellation 

  1. Some of the services offered in the App entail monthly subscription fees at different rates, according to the subscription the user decides to purchase. Subscription fees will be charged via your iTunes or Google Play account. 
  2. The App subscription is a continuous subscription and will be renewed automatically at the end of each subscription period unless you will cancel it. The user can turn off the automatic renewal via the Appstore setting accounts at list 24 hours before the current subscription comes to an end. Cancellation will come into force at the end of current subscription. Please note that deleting the App from your device does not result in cancelling your subscription. For more information how to manage your subscription, you can visit Apple support at: app store support or Google support at: google play support.     The company reserves the right to update App rates and the components of offered subscription plans periodically, at its exclusive discretion. The company will inform users of its intention to change subscription rates via a notification in the app. In case you use Apple, we will ask your consent to the new rate, without having your consent, the subscription will be disabled. 

Advertising in the App:

  1. If there are advertisements on the App, the Company will bear no responsibility for its content or actions taken in their framework. It should be clarified that these advertisements do not constitute encouragement or a recommendation to purchase. Reliance on the content of the advertisement or a purchase or transaction with the advertiser will be done at the sole discretion of the user; the Company is not a party to the transaction, nor does it bear any responsibility in connection with it.
